DESCRIPTION:The 2019 Maury County Workforce Summit will connect Spring Hill HS GMUAW/Randstad Workforce Summit students with industry professionals for a discussion around the changing needs of workforce development in the 21st century and the need to be innovative and nimble as the demands of employment changes and workers look for companies they can growth with. \n\n\n\nThis Workforce Summit will be putting high school seniors\, at center stage\, in order to help our counties' industry professionals understand and hear from the future workers of the 21st century what they are looking for in a future employer.  We are seeking to (1) help employers adjust their hiring and cultural practices to acquire and retain highly effective individuals that will give years to their employers\, rather than months\; (2.) help young people understand that there are industries that want to change and that they can find a long-time employment partner that values them and what they can bring to the workplace.\n\n \n\nTentative agenda:\n\n	9:00 arrival\n	9:15 Welcome and Kenote #1\n	9:30 Student Moderated Panel\; What are you looking for in a job\, employers\, and such?  What motivates you?\n	10:15 Keynote #2\n	10:30 Industry Moderated Panel\; What are you looking for in an employee?\n	11:15 Keynote #3\n	11:30 Roundtable Discussions\; Students and industry professionals talk around provided conversation cards on the table.\n	12:00 Lunch and Closing Speech\n\n \n\nThis event will be engaging\, enriching\, and informative.
