DESCRIPTION:Small business owners are invited to learn what options are available for themselves\, their families\, and their businesses under the Affordable Health Care Act.  Discussion will include:  Requirements\, penalties\, subsidy and tax credits\, the Marketplace and Small business Health Options Program (SHOP)\, available options\, steps to prepare for change\, and questions and answers.  The speaker is Kelly Walker of Benefits Connection who has 25 + years of experience in the field and will be certified by the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) to be able to assist individuals in enrolling in the Marketplace.  This workshop is presented by the Tennessee Small Business Development Center on September 18\, 2013 in Columbia\, TN.  The workshop is free but registration is requested.
