Leadership Maury Class of 2026 Completes Community Blessing Boxes Project
Columbia, TN – July 8, 2026 — The 38th class of Leadership Maury is pleased to announce the completion of their community project, Blessing Boxes. This initiative was developed by the 36 members of Leadership Maury’s Class of 2026 as part of their commitment to serving and strengthening the Maury County community.
“This class had some great ideas, and they came together to create a wonderful project that will benefit the community for years to come,” said Kara Williams, Leadership Maury Director.
As part of the project, five Blessing Boxes were built from the ground up and installed throughout the community to provide access to essential items for individuals and families experiencing food insecurity. The boxes are designed to be a resource where community members can donate and receive non-perishable food items and toiletries as needed.
This effort reflects Leadership Maury’s ongoing commitment to developing informed and engaged leaders while creating meaningful opportunities to make a positive local impact. Through the Blessing Boxes project, the Class of 2026 hopes to inspire continued community involvement and encourage residents to help keep the boxes stocked for those in need.
“We hope these Blessing Boxes will serve as a reminder that small acts of kindness and generosity can make a lasting difference in the lives of our neighbors,” said classmate Stephanie Hurst.
