Freedom Reigns Ranch is a 501c3 nonprofit organization established in 2015 and is located just south of Nashville in Middle Tennessee. The mission - “igniting hope, with the help of a horse” - is accomplished through free-of-charge individual and group mentorship sessions for children and young adults who have been through emotional trauma and other life-challenges.
The ministry uses horses and the way God created them as relational animals to help build bonds of trust who those who have experienced their own traumatic circumstances. Together they tackle the challenges of relationships, boundaries, anxiety, fear, overcoming adversity, resiliency from trauma, and growing in confidence. Serving on average of 53-60 children and young adults per month, over 2,400 hours of mentorship in 2021 alone, the Ranch has a continually growing wait list and need to expand.
Freedom Reigns Ranch also assists local equine rescues in the fostering and rehabilitation of rescued horses.
