AU-some Maury was born from an idea by a few members of Leadership Maury, Class of 2022 as we looked for ways to make a difference in Maury County.
Our goal is to raise awareness of the need for more inclusive opportunities for individuals and families with special needs to enjoy our beautiful community without barriers. So many of our wonderful businesses were already doing great things for the special needs community, but we wanted to grow their reach by developing a supportive collective of autism friendly businesses. AU-some Maury is designed to make it easier for not only local individuals to find supportive opportunities, but to put Maury County, Tennessee on the map as a global leader in autism supportive communities.
