ABOUT THE SPEAKER
As Manager, Learning & Development at Kaiser Aluminum, Hattie leads people development programs, which include leadership development programs and equity & inclusion programming.
Hattie has more than 20 years of Human Resources experience, having joined Kaiser Aluminum by way of the acquisition of Alcoa Warrick Operations. Prior to Warrick Operations, Hattie held many HR roles with Alcoa Fastening Systems & Rings and Arconic.
A passionate advocate for Equity and Inclusion, Hattie enacted impactful changes to increase inclusion and belonging within the Kaiser Warrick Operations facility, that were recognized locally as well as by the Kaiser Aluminum Executive Leadership team and Board of Directors.
Hattie is an optimist that fundamentally believes that people, organizations, society can do wonderful things. Hattie, an advocate for equity, believes everybody deserves an opportunity to be their best self, everybody deserves an opportunity to feel fulfilled, and everybody deserves to be seen, heard and cared for.
Hattie, her two daughters, and her mom, are committed to community engagement and social action. An active volunteer, Hattie enjoys working with organizations that help under-served communities.
Hattie holds a Bachelor of Science and a Masters in Business and Human Resources. Hattie also earned a PhD in Organizational Development.
Hattie is a member of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority Incorporated.
