Tennessee Reconnect Ambassador Program
The TN Reconnect Ambassador Program equips local organizations—including businesses, industry leaders, and educators with tools and knowledge to support adult learners in returning to college or completing a credential. Ambassadors serve as trusted champions for education and workforce development, helping connect adults in their communities or workplaces with TN Reconnect programs.
Ambassadors play a key role in building a stronger, more skilled labor pool by engaging adults where they are: in break rooms, on shop floors, at job fairs, and in community spaces. By promoting education pathways and supporting employees or community members in navigating their return to college, employers can boost retention, reduce training costs, and grow the talent needed to compete in a changing economy. Chambers and their member organizations can help bridge the gap between unfilled jobs and untapped potential—empowering adults to succeed, and helping local businesses thrive.

What is the commitment?
Ambassadors complete a short online training to learn about TN Reconnect and the resources available. From there, they share information in ways that fit their organization (such as connecting employees with a Reconnect Navigator) The role is flexible and designed to integrate into the work you’re already doing.
