Ribbon Cutting: Warfighter Gardens' Community Garden

Join Maury Alliance for a ribbon cutting ceremony celebrating the Warfighter Gardens' Veteran and First Responder Community Garden. 

This is a 50 foot by 30 foot American Flag shaped community garden that is open to the public to share a love of gardening and growing produce from seed to seed.

Warfighter Gardens is using this garden to teach and mentor the community on how, what and when to grow vegetables and herbs, and to teach self-reliance and resiliency from trauma through gardening.

Warfighter Gardens is a 501c3 that focuses on using alternative self-therapy methods for treating PTSD.  Specifically Individual Faith, Gardening, Agriculture, Music therapies and more. We service Veterans, Law enforcement, First Responders, and their families. We are veteran founded and run. Warfighter Gardens is staff 100% by volunteers, no one takes a pay check.

Our mission is to provide:

1. Therapy gardens at no cost to Veterans, first responders, and their families.
2. Exposure to multiple different alternative modalities in self-therapy.
