We couldn’t have done it without our amazing volunteers and supporters. Let’s celebrate 20 years of "Gotcha Days!"
Russell Rescue of Tennessee is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to the welfare of Jack Russell Terriers, all small and big dogs. Through our all-volunteer network, we rescue abandoned, neglected, and abused animals across the Southern United States, providing necessary medical care and placement into permanent, loving homes.
Our goal is to find loving forever homes for every dog we touch! If we rescue a dog, we will spend as long as it takes to find that forever family.
The $300 per dog adoption fee we charge is based solely on our expenses to have a normal dog examined, vaccinated, spayed/neutered and microchipped. The adoption fee does not cover the cost of shelter pull fees, transportation, food or any special medical treatment the dog may need. These expenses, as well as all costs incurred as part of adoption are funded by donations from our supporters... like you! Thanks to the generosity of our donors, we have been able to save over 9,000 dogs with terrible injuries, illnesses or emotional issues that otherwise would have died in a shelter, bedside the road or at the hands of an abuser.
