Pet Pals of Maury County is sponsoring a Pet Portrait Painting Workshop scheduled for November 12, 1-5pm at Wall Candy Custom Framing located on W.7th Street in historic, downtown Columbia, TN. This workshop is designed for beginning students, ages 12 to adult, who would like to tap into their inner-artist and learn the fundamentals of painting pet portraits.
The class fee is $70 which includes your instruction and 12 x 16 canvas. Easels will be furnished during class, but each student must bring his or her own painting supplies which may be easily purchased locally at Wal-Mart or Hobby Lobby. A clear reference photo taken in good light of your pet must be emailed to the instructor prior to the class and also brought to class.
A portion of the class fees will go to Pet Pals of Maury County to fund free spay and neuter clinics and to assist county seniors purchase pet food for their companion animals.
You'll leave with your own original masterpiece sure to be a family heirloom!
