Join us on Highland Realm Farm for an afternoon experience with Herbalist Meredith Kotelec.
Forage to Medicine Part 2. Winter Medicine Chest
Have you ever wanted to learn how to identify, forage and use the medicinal plants in your own backyard? HERE’S YOUR CHANCE!
Join Herbalist Meredith Kotelec of @woodlandartsandherbs, who will lead a nature walk in which you will learn to identify and harvest medicinal plants and turn them into winter medicine for your family.
The session will begin with a plant walk identifying plants that support the immune system, heal dry winter skin, and soothe sore throats. In the second half of the session, you will make your own fire cider, dry skin salve and cough syrup. Come learn how to start and stock your winter medicine cabinet!
